Who I am
About me
At some point during my years in international companies, something became clear to me that I have never been able to ignore: communication has layers. And most people only ever work on one of them.
Tasks get assigned, instructions given, targets set. That is the visible layer. Underneath it lies something that rarely gets named: the need to be seen. To belong. To be genuinely heard, not as a role, but as a person.
I watched capable, committed people quietly disengage, not because they did not want to contribute, but because no one had ever asked what they actually needed. Not out of bad intentions, but because of time pressure, habit, and the assumption that efficiency and humanity are somehow in conflict.
They are not. And that is why I do what I do today.
