Hello, I am Helene, a trainer who specializes in training the soft skills of professionals in the tourism industry.  
In my job I address all professionals: from bartenders to room service and of course waiters, concierge, reception, animation, spa area, housekeeping and back office. In order to be chosen by the client, to get a good rating and to increase the income, friendliness is the basis, but it is not enough anymore. A smile, a comfortable bed and good food are standard, so we don't delight guests anymore. As the World Economic Forum's report on the future of jobs shows, the guest expressly recommends a hotel, is happy to come back and gives an excellent rating thanks to the soft skills . Social skills, or better said, the ability of professionals to anticipate the needs of the client means helping him to choose what he wants; listening to him without filters. The aim of my courses is to sensitise professionals to the different types of personality of the guests, so that they can learn how to deal with them even better. My group courses, which I conduct directly on site, include many practical exercises that show immediate results. In my training there are bartenders who are curious about how to make sure that guests stay in the hotel bar and don't go somewhere else, waiters who want to understand how their behaviour can increase their turnover, receptionists who are looking for a way to manage complaints, housekeepers who want to know how best to organise their working hours according to guests' needs.
